Alma Madalena Veronica Greengrass is the daughter of Adelina García and Maynard Greengrass and the older sister of Asher Greengrass. During term she attends Hogwarts, but during the holidays she is immured in the family home on Romney Marsh, Shorne Court, with her family. A shy, quiet and retiring girl, until now she has not questioned the ways of her staunchly Catholic family. But now she is beginning to do so.
